Zoya Akhtar Drops Major Update On Jee Le Zaraa, ‘Waiting For’

Entertainment: While reports had earlier suggested that Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zara will be shelved due to date issues of the leading ladies – Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra – fresh reports have hinted otherwise.

As per the India Today, Zoya Akhtar said that the makers of the film are waiting for the dates of the actors. “We are just waiting for the dates of the actors,” Zoya told India Today.

Notably, Jee Le Zaraa will mark Farhan Akhtar’s return to the director role and the film is set to revolve around the story of three friends who go on a road trip together.

Earlier reports had hinted that makers are planning to go on floor with the movie by the end of 2023 but the date issues have delayed the project.

Few reports had also suggested that Farhan has approached Anushka Sharma in the place of Priyanka Chopra but former reportedly denied.
