You are acting oversmart, don’t have manners: Kailash Kher slams Khelo India Games organizers over ‘mismanagement,’ video goes viral

Lucknow: Bollywood singer Kailash Kher got upset on Thursday evening during inauguration ceremony of Khelo Indian Games 2023 India at BBD University in Lucknow, and launched himself at the organizer.

Kher was invited by the organizers to perform at the inauguration ceremony but was seen launching himself on n the organizers over mismanagement at the event. 

Notably, Khelo India Games 2023 is touted as one of the most competitive multi-sporting event in the country, and the current edition is being in Lucknow’s BBD University. 

While the exact reason of him getting angry at the organizers is still not clear, but Kailash Kher’s video of shouting at the organizers has gone viral on internet. 

“Hoshiyari dikhaaa rahe ho, pehle tamez seekh lo. Ek ghanta hunko intezar karaya, Kya hain ye Khelo India? Kaam toh ataaa nahi? (You are acting oversmart, first learn manners. You made me wait for an hour. What is this Khelo India? You don’t know your job,” he said.

However, renowned singer eventually calmed down set the stage on fire with some of his most popular songs.

 ji for taking the initiative to connect sports and music together. Both the genres have been taken lightly in the country for ages,” Kailash Kher tweeted. 

Additionally, Chief secretary of Sports and Youth Affairs, Navneet Sehgal was also seen shaking his leg with Kailash Kher.

The Khelo India Games will witness 4000 athletes and over 200 universities will participate in 21 sports through-out the 10-day event.
