World Cup 2023: Let’s Check Tickets Distribution Between State, BCCI And ICC

After holding crucial meeting with the state boards in New Delhi, BCC Secretary Jay Shah has informed that online tickets sale for the World Cup 2023 will be available soon.

Meanwhile, ESPNCricinfo report has hinted that cricket fans will be able to buy tickets online by August 10.

BCCI Secretary Jay Shah has also conveyed the state boards to finalise their tickets pricing and submit it to the board by July 31.

Let’s check the distribution of the tickets between state board, BCCI and ICC for the World Cup 2023:

As per provision, ICC and BCCI will get free 300 hospitality tickets per game.

The state has to provide 1295 tickets for league games, and 1355 tickets for India and semi-final games to the ICC.

The state association is bound to give 500 general tickets free of cost to the Indian board (BCC).

Additionally, BCCI has conveyed to the state bodies that in case ICC (250 hospitality and 1800 general tickets) and BCCI (300 tickets each in hospitality and general stand tickets) what to buy additional hospitality tickets, the state must provide them.

Outside of these quotas, each state association can buy 40 tickets per game and 10 percent of the remaining tickets to be purchased by the ICC tour partner.
