Will Abhishek Bachchan Contest 2024 Lok Sabha Election From Prayagraj? Here’s The Truth

With social media buzzing around with repots of Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan likely to join Indian politics and eying 2024 Lok Sabha elections under the shadow of Samajwadi Party, the speculation seems to be fake.

It was Bharat Samachar who first reported that Jr. Bachchan might contest 2024 Lok Sabha election from Prayagraj constituency, just like his father.

However, ET Times has rubbished the reports and stated that Abhishek is extremely busy with some highly-anticipated projects and does not feel like joining politics.

Meanwhile, in 2013, when Abhishek was asked in one of his interviews regarding any possibility of joining politics, he answered with a big no.

“My parents have been into politics but I don’t see myself doing it. I might take on a politician’s role on-scree in real life it’s a big no. I will never get into it,” he said.

Abhishek is gearing up Ghooomer and will soon start his next project with Shoojit Sarcar.
