Mumbai: Mumbai Indians is seeking their second win in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League as they geared up to host Kolkata Knight Riders on Sunday afternoon at Wankhede stadium in Mumbai.
While KKR skipper Nitish Rana step out for the toss, Mumbai fans dealt with a major blow as instead of Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav was seen leading the Mumbai pack.
Many were wondering why Rohit Sharma is not leading Mumbai Indians in a high-stake game, Suryakumar Yadav revealed that Rohit Sharma is having a stomach bug due to which he is not doing captaincy in this particular match.
“Rohit is out, he has a stomach bug. Time to put up a good show,” Suryakumar Yadav said.
