In order to manage workload during highly-competitive IPL and eying better results in upcoming ICC tournaments, Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma is likely to miss out few games in the 16th season of Indian Premier League.
According to Indian Express, Suryakumar Yadav is likely to lead the squad in Rohit’s absence.
Notably, Team India, under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, will play couple of high-stake ICC tournaments this year and Rohit Sharma has reportedly conveyed his wish to the Mumbai franchise.
Just nine days after the IPL, Team India will take on Australia in the World Test Championships final in The Oval on June 7.
Meanwhile, Team India will put all it’s attention toward ODI World Cup 2023 as Men in Blue will be hoping to end their 10-year-long title drought.
