Day after Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that his state police will help Rajasthan police to arrest Monu Manesar in an alleged connection with the murder of Junaid and Nasir, Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot hit back.
Taking to Twitter, Gehlot wrote;
“Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar has given a statement in media that he will help the Rajasthan police in every possible way. But when our police went to arrest the accused of the Nasir-Junaid murder case, the Haryana police di not cooperate and rather registered an FIR against the Rajasthan police.”
The Congress leader also alleged that Haryana police is not cooperating with Rajasthan police to trace the accused.
A day earlier, Haryana CM said that Rajasthan has registered an FIR against Monu Manesar and ‘whatever help is required to look for him will be provided.’
Rajasthan police hit pregnant women in Haryana:
On February 21, Haryana Police registered an FIR against Rajasthan police on a complaint filed by the family of Shrikant Pandit, a member of Gau Rakshak Dal, who alleged that policemen from Rajasthan stormed into their home on February 17 and hit Kamlesh Pandit – then nine months pregnant at the time – causing a miscarriage.
Murder of two cousin:
The charred bodies of the two men – Junaid (35), and Nasir (27) – were found inside a vehicle in Haryana’s Bhiwani district on February 16.
While the family members alleged that they were kidnapped and murdered by Bajrang Dal, the Hindu outfit rejected the allegations.
