Who is Neal Mohan? An Indian-American to become CEO of Youtube

An Indo-American engineer from Stanford University is all set to succeed Susan Wojcicki as the CEO of YouTube. Wojcicki held the high-profile portfolio for nine years, but she will be replaced by her long-time lieutenant, Neal Mohan.
In a letter sent to YouTube’s employees, Wojcicki said that she is leaving to ‘start a new chapter of her life focused on family, health and personal projects’ she is passionate about.
Meanwhile, Mohan will join a lucrative club of Indian-American executives who are at the helm of some of the biggest tech giants in the world. The list includes Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayan, and Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai. Indra Nooyi has served as PepsiCo’s CEO for 12 years before stepping down in 2018.
