WATCH: Women dressed in Ukrainian colours stage protest on Cannes red carpet, pours fake blood against Russia’s invasion

In order to raise awareness towards the sufferings of Ukrainians’ sufferings since Russia’s military invasion, a woman dressed in the colours of the Ukrainian flag staged an intense demonstration on the red carpet of the 76th Cannes Film Festival, on Sunday, by pouring fake blood on herself before security took her away.
Notably, the brief protest took place during the screening of Just Philippot’s film Acid. Watch the video here.
In the year 2022, a woman ripped off her dress revealing her body painted in the Ukrainian flag colurs with words ‘STOP RAPING US’ inscribed on her body at the Cannes Film Festival red carpet in the solo demonstration.
The brief protest occurred at the world premier of Three Thousands Years of Longing, featuring Idris Elba and Tilda Swinton poised to arrive and walk the famous steps of the Palais des Festivals.
