WATCH: US And British Spokesperon Wish People On Hindi Diwas

New Delhi: The US State Department’s Bharat Spokesperson Margaret Macleod on September 14, Thursday congratulated all the Hindi-speaking people in the world on Hindi Diwas.

In a video posted on X, she said, “On the occasion of Hindi Diwas, I want to congratulated all the Hindu language-speaking people. Like every language, the Hindi language has its own sweetness. Last week, Biden came to India for the G20 summit. I felt really happy to play the role of delivering the message of President Biden and the American Government.”

Alex Ellis on Hindi Diwas

Earlier, British High Commissioner to India, Alex Ellis wished Indians on the occassions of Hindi Diwas and revealed his five favourite words in Hindi.

“From my very patient Hindi teachers to everyone else on X who has been so supportive, thank you! मेरे पाँच पसंदीदा हिन्दी शब्द,” he wrote.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also wished the countrymen and said that ‘Hindi language will continue to ‘strengthen the thread of national unity and goodwill.’
