Shubman Gill has emerged as one of the most promising talent for Men in Blue in recent time. While the batter has proved his worth in the squad with couple of match-defining knocks, 1st ODI against Australia didn’t go as per his plans.

Gill became talk of the town during 1^st innings of the match as he dropped a sitter at slip, leaving the bowler – Md. Shami furious. However, Gill redeemed himself in no-time as he perfectly took two brilliant catches at the same position.

As India clinched a thriller in the series opener and action moves to Chennai for the second one-day international, head coach Rahul Dravid took some time to train Shubman Gill. Speaking of the series, Team India has taken 1-0 lead in a three match ODI series after KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja produced a brilliant show with the bat.
