Notably, Major Aashish Dhonchak gave supreme sacrifice along with two other India Army officers and J&K police official while fighting against Pakistan-based terrorists in Anantnag Encounter.

Colonel Manpreet Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Jammu and Kashmir Police Humayun Bhat and one other Indian Army officer (identity yet not disclosed) are among others who have lost their life.
