WATCH: Md. Siraj Takes One-Handed Stunner To Reduce Host 68/4 on Day 1 of 1st Test, Ind Vs WI

Md. Siraj pulled of a one-handed stunner on Day 1 of the first Test against West Indies in Dominica to reduce the host at 68 for 4, right ahead of the lunch break.

With West Indies three down, the onus was on Jermaine Blackwood and Alick Athanaze to steady Caribbean ship, but Md. Siraj’s brilliance in the field stuck the host hard.

It was a last deliver before the lunch when Ravindra Jadeja bowled a tossed-up delivery on off-stump, impatient Blackwood went for a big hit but end up accelerating the ball till the mid-off.

Despite opting to bat first, Kraigg Brathwaite-led West Indies failed to pose tough challenge to the Indian bowlers as the host have already lost four wickets till the lunch break on Day 1.

While R Ashwin provided first two breakthroughs to the visitors, Shardul Thakur too joined the party and dismissed left-handed all-rounder Raymon Reifer (2 off 18) in the 20th over of the match.

Till the lunch break, West Indies has somehow managed to score 68 off 4 in 28 overs. Left-handed Alick Athanaze is currently in the middle for West Indies.
