WATCH: ‘Just Stop Oil’ Protestors Disrupt 2nd Ashes Test at Lord’s; Johnny Bairstow Intervenes

The second Ashes Test between England and Australia started with some disruption as couple of ‘Just Stop Oil’ protestors sneaked inside the Lord’s stadium and caused a brief mayhem right after the 1^st over.

Before security guards could take things under control, England batter Johnny Bairstow intervened and escorted one of the protestors outside the ground.

The match was halted for few minutes as the ground staff quickly removed the paints on the ground, and Bairstow too changed his stained jersey. Watch the video here.

Speaking of the match, England won the toss and opted to field first at the Lord’s. Notably, Australia clinched the first Ashes Test by winning the series opener by 2-wickets on Day 5 at Edgbaston.
