WATCH: Indian Army Pays Last Respect To Army Dog Died Fighting Pakistani Terrorist

Indian Army on September 13, Wednesday paid last respect to martyr Kent, female Labrador who laid her life during an encounter between Indian Army and Pakistan sponsored terrorists in Kashmir’s Rajouri district.

The canine soldier laide down her life while shielding it’s handler during the Rajouri encounter operation in Jammu and Kashmir. As informed by the Defence Spokesperson, Kent was leading a column of soldiers on the trail of fleeing terrorists when it came down under heavy hostile fire.

Remembering her ultimate sacrifice for the nation, the Indian Army shared a video of the brave canine on duty, leading soldiers in search op drill.

Trained as tracker dog, Kent was part of 8 operation in over 5 years.

In an intense encounter between the Indian Army and Pakistan-based terrorist in Rajouri, three Indian soldiers lost their life while one terrorist has also been neutralised.

Meanwhile, 3 Indian soldiers have also sustained injuries. The battle is currently going on.
