Although, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma is in happy space as his side has ticked all the right boxes in first two Test matches against Australia, the skipper will have a tough call to make ahead of the third Test match in Indore.
KL Rahul and Shubman Gill – two quality top-order batters are fighting for a spot to open alongside Rohit Sharma in the third match of the bilateral.
After KL Rahul failed to score well in first two games of the series and was dropped from vice-captaincy for the remaining two Test matches of the series, reports have hinted that Shubman Gill might get a chance in the third Test match.
Meanwhile, both the batters were seen sweating out hard in Indore ahead of the third Test match. In a video posted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), KL Rahul was seen honing his defence skills, while Gill looked more aggressive in his approach. Check out the video.

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma, who has a century to his name in the series too spent time in nets while Virat Kohli, who is yet to convert a good start into big score was also seen middling the ball at nets. Meanwhile, R Ashwin, who has graced the series with his all-round skills took turn working on his sweeping skills.
