WATCH: Congress leader unfurls Indian flag on Atiq Ahmed’s grave, demands ‘Bharat Ratna’ for gangster

Prayagraj: Days after dreaded-gangster turned politician Atiq Ahmed was brutally shot dead in the presence of police force and media personnel in Prayagraj, a Congress leader from Sangam city demanded ‘Bharat Ratna’ for former Samajwadi Party MLA, and went on to lay down Indian flag on Atiq Ahmed’s grave.

Rajkumar Singh Rajju called late Atiq Ahmed ‘a martyr’ and demanded country’s highest civilian honor. 

The video of Rajju demanding the same has gone viral on internet, making his party and himself a subject of joke. Listen to Congress leader.

Meanwhile, Prayagraj Congress Committee sensed the embarrassment caused by his own leader, and rescued itself by suspending the leader for six years. 

Not just congress party, but Prayagraj police too swiftly acted and took Rajju into custody. An FIR has also been registered against him.
