While China raised objection over his visit to the villages in Arunachal Pradesh, Union Home Minister Amit Shah warned the neighbours by stating that no one can encroach upon India land.

After launching the Vibrant Village Programme, Shah also inaugurated infrastructure projects in Kibithoo, the easternmost tip of India.

“Now those times are gone when anyone could encroach upon Indian land. Today no one can encroach even on land equal to the point of a needle,” Amit Shah said.

He further claimed that the entire country can sleep peacefully in their homes today because of our ITBP jawans.

“The Army is working day and night on our border. Today, we can proudly say that no one has the power to cast an evil eye on us,” he added.

Mr. Shah took a direct dig at Congress when he said that before 2014, the entire Northen region was known as disturbed region, but in the last nine years, because of PM Modi’s ‘Look East’ policy, northeast contributes to the development of the country.

Meanwhile, China claimed that ‘Zangnan is China’s territory’ and stated that the visit of Indian officials violates China’s territorial sovereignty and is not conducive to the peace and tranquillity of the border situation.
