Virat Kohli Meets Joshua Da Silva's Mother; Gives Warm Hug

Indian batter Viral Kohli met the mother of West Indies wicket-keeper batter Joshua Da Silva in the sidelines of the second Test against West Indies at the Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain.

During the interaction, Kohli shared warm hug with Joshua’s mother and obliged for a selfie request. Joshua’s mother even told Kohli that he has a very beautiful wife. Watch the video here.

Virat is like my son

While speaking to a senior reporter, Joshua Da Silva’s mother siad that Virat Kohli is like her son. “Virat is like my son. I hope Joshua learns a lot from him,” she said.

Earlier on Day 1, Joshua Da Silva was caught telling Virat Kohli that his mother would come to watch him, instead of her son.

“My mom told me on the phone that she is coming to see Virat and not me. That’s literally what my mom said. I couldn’t believe it. I don’t blame her to be honest. She’s right up there watching,” Joshua told Virat.

Virat Kohli enters record book

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli completed his 76^th international century on Day 2 of the match as he guided visitors to a commanding position in the game. 34-year-old became the only batter in the world to score hundred in his 500th International game.

India managed to score 438/10 on Day 2 of the second Test match. In response, West Indies have added 86 at the loss of 1 wicket. 27-year-old Tagenarine Chanderpaul contributed with 33-runs before R Ashwin hunted him down.
