Vinod Kamble’s ‘Kastoori’ To Hit Theatres On November 3
MUMBAI: Vinod Kamble’s award-winning film ‘Kastoori’ is set for a theatrical release on November 3, presented by filmmakers Anurag Kashyap and Nagraj Manjule.
The movie, which won the National Award for Best Children’s Film in 2019, explores the life of a 14-year-old boy engaged in manual scavenging.
Titled ‘The Musk’ in English, the film portrays the boy’s journey for education and self-discovery amid societal prejudices.
Both Kashyap and Manjule praised the film’s poignant storytelling and its portrayal of the challenges faced by children of manual scavengers. ‘Kastoori’ promises to be a compelling cinematic experience.
