Vicky Kaushal On Losing National Award To Pushpa Actor Allu Arjun

Mumbai: Vicky Kaushal has now opened up on losing 69th National Award in the Best Actor category to Pusha fame Allu Arjun. Notably, Vicky Kaushal was nominated in the Best Actor category for Sardar Uddham Singh, which bagged five honours including Best Hindi film.
In a fresh development, Vicky Kaushal has disclosed he has no qualms of not getting National Award, instead he is happier to be part of such project like Sardar Uddham Singh.
“Nahi! The thing is that many times, when you get a film and get to work with a director that you like, you think that’s where your dream has come true, which is genuinely true for Sardar Udham. I am not just saying for the heck of it. Being a Punjabi, that topic, that man, that story is very, very close to my heart,” Vicky said.
The actor also said that getting an opportunity to work with director like Shoojit Sircar was a big deal for him.
“For me, the story to reach the world, to get appreciated, to get resonated, that is everything. After that, for the film to get all the rewards are all bonuses. I don’t have any qualms,” he added.
Earlier, director Shoojit Sarcard had said that Vicky deserved the award more than Allu Arjun. Meanwhile, Pushpa actor became the first Tamil actor to clinch National Award.
