Uttarkashi Tunnel Collapse: Oxygen Supply In Progress As 40 Workers Trapped Inside

UTTARAKHAND: Rescue efforts are underway to reach nearly 40 workers feared trapped in the Silkyara Tunnel in Uttarakhand’s Uttarkashi district.

The workers are believed to be safe, with communication established and oxygen supplied through a pipeline intended for water supply in the tunnel.

Food items were also provided through the same pipeline using a compressor at night. Heavy excavator machines have been deployed to clear debris.
