Union Minister Kiren Rijiju speaks on when government is planning to implement Uniform Civil Code

New Delhi: Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju on Saturday has made a bold revelation on the implementation of Uniform Civil Code in the country. 

While speaking exclusively to Aaj Tak, senior BJP leader reiterated the intentions of his government by stating the right thing will be done at the right time. 

“It is clearly mentioned in Article 44 of the Indian Constitution that the state should endeavor to implement the Uniform Civil Code. We do take every step that is needed for the betterment of the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” Minister said.

Mr. Rijiju further claimed that people are well aware of his government’s agenda and there needs to be an understanding on such issues.
