Ujjain Horror: Auto Driver Held, Three Others Detained

Ujjain: 38-year-old auto driver and three others have been arrested allegedly for raping and thrashing 12-year-old minor girl in Madhya Pradesh’ Ujjain.

A day earlier, minor girl, soaked in blood was found bleeding on a street in Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain city. The police said they have examined the CCTV footage of the 8 km stretch where the victim walked on foot while pleading for help.

As per fresh details, the arrested auto driver was identified as 38-year-old Rakesh.

What are the findings?

The police has said that the victim had boarded an auto at Jeevan Kheri. Blood stains were also found on the auto and a forensic examination of the auto is underway. One of three detained in the case is also an auto driver.

A 12-year-old girl, raped was found bleeding on a street in Ujjain city on September 27 (Wednesday). The whole incident came to light after CCVT footage of the girl seeking help from locals went viral on social media.

First Information Report:

An FIR was registered at Mahakal police station in connection with the rape of minor girl. Meanwhile, state’s home minister Narottam Mishra has formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the shocking crime.
