Udupi Shocker: Police Files FIR Against Girls And College; NCW Starts Probe – Details Inside

Karnataka: Days after horrific incident of three medical students allegedly filmed several girls in college washrooms came to light, Udupi police has finally registered an FIR and National Commission of Women (NCW) has launched an investigation in the case.
The Malpe police station in Udupi has lodged two FIR in the case, one against the three girls and the management of the college administration for allegedly filming a private picture of a person and second case is linked to the uploading of an edited video on YouTube channel.
Meanwhile, National Commission for Women Member and BJP leader Khusbhu Sundar has left for Udupi to conduct probe in the matter.
“Heading to Udupi to look into the issue where girls were filmed in a washroom by their fellow girl college mates. It is extremely saddening to see children indulging in such activities,” she tweeted.
The three alleged accused in this case are identified as Alimatul Shafia, Aliya and Shabanaz.
