Two Terrorists Killed As Indian Army And J&K Police Foiled Major Infiltration Bid

The Indian Army on Monday foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district.

As per reports, an exchange of fire took place between terrorists and army officials along the LOC. Additional force was rushed to the spot.

Search operation is underway by the Indian Army and J&K police in Poonch after suspicious movement was observed at LoC.

“Operation Bahadur #Poonch Sector. Major infiltration Bid Eliminated in a joint operation by #IndianArmy & @Jammukmrpolice during the night of 17 Jul 23 in Poonch Sector. Two infiltrators have been eliminated. Search operations are in progress,” police said.
