Two muslims missing from Rajasthan found burnt to death in Haryana, family alleges cow vigilantism by Bajrang Dal

Police in Haryana is investigating two charred bodies found inside a burnt vehicle in Bhiwani, on Thursday. Ironically, a day earlier a family in Rajasthan filed an FIR alleging that two men Junaid and friend Nasir had gone missing and were kidnapped by members of the Bajrang Dal.

Police claimed that they are yet to ascertain the identities of the body but they confirmed that burnt car is the Boleno, was reported missing from Rajasthan’s Bharatpur.

According to Rajasthan police, Junaid has five cases named after him for alleged cow thief. As reported by The Quint, the missing FIR mentions the name of Anil, Shrikant, Rinku Saini, Lokesh Singla and Monu Manesar of the Bajrang Dal, being allegedly responsible for the attack.

Meanwhile, Loharu DSP Jagat Singh told The Indian Express that they got information about the incident at 8 am Thursday.

“With the help of chasis number of the Boleno car, we contacted the owner of the vehicle. We carried out a preliminary investigation and informed the SHO of Gopalgarh (Rajasthan) who reached the spot,” Singh said.

The officer further informed that the post mortem was conducted in Loharu’s government hospital and later, the bodies were handed over to the families concerned. “We have undertaken inquest proceedings under section 174 of the CrPC. Further investigation in the case will be carried out by the Rajasthan police,” added officer.
