Twitter shuts down Delhi, Mumbai offices, asks staff to work from home: Report

After slashing off 90 per cent of staff in India last year, Twitter Inc has now taken yet another significant step towards cutting down their cost and get the struggling social media service in the black. According to reports, Twitter Inc. has shut two of its three India officers and told its staff to work from home.
The social microblogging site has reportedly closed its offices in the political centre New Delhi and financial hub of Mumbai. Meanwhile, the company continues to operate an office in the southern tech hub of Bengaluru.
Notably, Twitter CEO Elon Musk has been cutting off its work force and shutting down Twitter offices globally in an attempt to improve the financial health of the company.
Twitter has recently launched its opt-in-paid monthly subscription, Twitter Blue, in India. The subscription service is priced of Rs. 900 per month for mobile app and Rs. 650 on the website. Annual subscribers on the website have been offered a discounted price of Rs. 6,800 instead of Rs. 7,800 per annum.
