Twitter Shows Gilgit-Baltistan in India; Blocks Pakistan’s Official Accounts – Details Inside

In a significant development, Twitter has reportedly re-located Gilgit-Baltistan to Jammu and Kashmir and also blocked access to the government of Pakistan’s official accounts.

As reported by Dawn – Pakistan based newspaper, several users raised the issue when they turned on their location on the app and found their location to be marked as Kashmir (India).

When one of the users tried to access the government’s official Twitter account, an error message popped up stating ‘account has been withheld in India in response to a legal demand.’ Check out few reactions shared by Gilgit-Baltistan nationals on Twitter.
