Such a shame: Twitter reacts as reports confirm Jasprit Bumrah will directly play IPL 2023

Jasprit Bumrah’s name was among top-Twitter trends on Sunday evening as BCCI announced India’s squad for the remaining of the two Test matches. Hours after Rohit Sharma and Co. crushed Pat Cummins’ Australia in the second Test match of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Delhi, BCCI named 15-member squad for Test and ODI-leg of the bilateral contest against Australia.

While Saurashtra skipper Jayadev Unadkat, who is coming fresh from winning Ranji Trophy 2022-23 title, has been added in the squad, Indian speedster Jasprit Bumrah continued to be among absentees in Test and ODI leg of the bilateral contest.

While Bumrah is missing from his national commitments from the last five months, he is most likely to don the Mumbai Indians jersey during month-away IPL 2023.

That fact didn’t go down well with the Indian cricket fans, who were quick to troll the Indian pacer alleging that he misses out international games, only to stay fit for IPL. Check out reactions.
