True batting genius: Cricket fraternity congraulates Virat Kohli on yet another batting masterclass in IPL

Hyderabad: Virat Kohli-starrer Royal Challengers Bangalore shocked host Sunrisers Hyderabad on Thursday evening as the visitors clinched thrilling win by 8-wickets. While chasing 198, Virat Kohli and Faf-du-Plessis wreaked havoc in Hyderabad’s pace attack as the duo firm together till 170-runs in the 2nd innings.
Virat Kohli-Faf du Plessis stitched fourth-century stand, the joint third most by an opening pair in IPL history. While Faf du Plessis carried on his red-hot form in the season, Virat Kohli brought the best of himself by smashing sixth IPL ton in the 65th match of the season.
In his illustrious innings, Virat Kohli smashed four maximums and 12 boundaries to achieve the rare feat. Notably, Virat Kohli equalled Chris Gayle’s record of maximum centuries in the history of Indian Premier League.

Earlier, Heinrich Klaasen too batted brilliantly and went to smash 104 off 51 deliveries, but his brilliant knock went in vain as RCB chased down the target in just 19.2 overs and with 8-wicket in hand.
