The new findings by a group of French scientists have alarmed of the onset of another outbreak as they rediscovered a 48,500-year-old zombie virus buried, under a frozen lake in Russia.

Speaking of the new viral study – helmed by microbiologist Jean-Marie Alempic from the French National Center for Scientific Research – claims, ‘situation would be much more disastrous in the case of a plant, animal or human diseases with the revival of an ancient unknown virus.’
Aix-Marseille University professor Jean-Michel Claverie, the study’s co-author, warned the medical authorities about the lack of significant updates and claimed that the original research (in 2014 & 2015), which suggests ‘zombie viruses’ not a public health threat, is ‘wrong.’
After studying the live cultures, scientists concluded that all ‘zombie viruses’ have the potential to be infectious and a ‘health threat.
