Terrorists Kill Police Officer in North Kashmir, 3rd Targeted Attack in 3 Days

JAMMU AND KASHMIR: In North Kashmir’s Tangmarg, an unidentified gunman shot and critically injured Ghulam Mohammad Dar, a Head Constable of Jammu and Kashmir Police, near his residence. Despite being rushed to the hospital for treatment, Dar tragically succumbed to his injuries.
The attackers, whose identity remains unknown, targeted Dar, a resident of Wailoo Kralpora, who served in the Police Control Room (PCR) division of the Jammu and Kashmir Police.
This incident marks the third targeted terrorist attack in the region within three days. On the previous day, a migrant worker from Uttar Pradesh, Mukesh, lost his life after being shot by terrorists in Pulwama district. The assailants fired upon Mukesh in the Tumchi Nowpora area of Pulwama, leading to his unfortunate demise.
In another attack on October 29, a police inspector from the Jammu and Kashmir Police suffered grievous injuries when terrorists fired upon him near the Eidgah mosque in Srinagar.

The incident occurred while the inspector was playing cricket with local youngsters at the Eidgah ground. Preliminary investigations indicate that a pistol was used in the attack.
The Resistance Front (TRF), a terrorist organization linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba, has claimed responsibility for this attack.
