Tata Motors to introduce electric version of Nano soon: Report

In a significant development, automobile giant – Tata Motors is likely to roll out the electric version of the Nano in the Indian market. However, the exact date is yet not clear, but reports have suggested that Tata Motors wants to cash in on the growing EV market in the country.
Live Hindustan report has confirmed that automobile expert Pratyush Raut has designed a concept look for Nano EV, and the car is expected to be bigger in size. Reportedly, Nano EV might have a bigger daytime running light (DRL) and compact headlamp.
Additionally, the bumper section might feature a smiley face, embellished side panels, and a rare door will have handles on the C-pillar. The wheels of the Nano EV have been placed on the corner which means a long wheelbase and spacious interior.
Talking about Nanos, Tata Motors had rolled out Nano in 2008, claiming it is the world’s cheapest car. However, the flagship car failed to get success and the company reported poor sales due to which Nano was wound up in 2018.
