Stuart Broad Gets Guard Of Honour From Australian Players And The Oval Crowd On Day 4 Of 5th Ashes Test

The Oval: Day after England’s legendary pacer Stuart Broad announced retirement from professional cricket, 37-year-old was given standing ovation by the Australian players, The Oval crowd on Day 4 of the 5th Ashes Test, on July 30, Saturday.

About Stuart Broad:

Playing his final Test innings, Broad treated The Oval crowd with a smashing six off Micthell Starc in the vert first over on Day 4. As expected, the crowd was elated to see Broad enjoying his last Test innings.

However, Broad could not entertain for long with the bat as his close friend and teammate James Anderson was trapped leg-before Todd Murphy.

About Eng vs Aus, 5th Ashes Test:

Australia needs 384 to win the 5th Ashes Test with two days of the play still remains. Notably, Australia has already retained the Ashes by winning first two matches. The 3rd Ashes Test was draw, while England clinched the 4th Ashes Test.
