Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan Sells Over Rs. 2 Lakh Tickets For Day 1 In India
Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan is likely to make a record shattering opening at the box office.
After successful stint with Pathan at the start of the year, Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up his second release of the year and fresh reports have claimed that SRK’s Jawan will have a thunderous opening.
As reported by Bollywood Hungama, the film had already sold 2,03,300 tickets in the two biggest national multiplex chains in India for the first day alone until 12 noon.
Jawan has sold 168,000 tickets across PVR + INOX and a further 35,00 across Cinepolis theatres. What makes these numbers more interesting is that these sales are just for the film’s opening day, Thursday, September 7.
For the unversed, Jawan is produced by SRK’s Red Chillies Entertainment and also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupati, Sanya Malhotra and others.
