In a significant development, two of the prolific Indian batters have made strides in the Men’s ODI batters rankings.
While Babar Azam continued to remain at the top and rated as No.1 ODI batter, Shubman Gill made quite a leap as he now sits at No. 3 in the format.
Apart from Gill, Ishan Kishan has also seen crucial growth in rankings as he made the cut among 25 top batters.
Gill’s progress came after brilliant 67* run knock against Nepal in the 5th match of the Asia Cup 2023, helping India to claim 10-wicket victory.
Meanwhile Ishan Kishan cracked the top 25 rankings after his brilliance against Pakistan in the 3rd match of the tournament.
He contributed with 82-runs in 81 deliveries and rescued India’s early jolt. He currently sits at the 24th place in the rankings. Also, Virat Kohli is the No. 10 ODI batter in the Men’s rankings.
