Shaheen Afridi Congratulates Bumrah For Becoming Father; Latter Reacts

Colombo: Pakistan speedster Shaheen Afridi on Sunday, September 10 extended   heartwarming congratulations to the Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah for becoming a father.

The meeting between two of the best pacers in the world cricket took place in the sidelines of India vs Pakistan Asia Cup 2023 Super-4 stage game at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo after match was abandoned on Sunday, September 10.

Taking to X, Shaheen Afridi wrote;

“Love and peace. Congratulations @Jaspritbumrah93 and family on the birth of your child. Prayers for the entire family. We battle on the field. Off the field we are just your regular humans.”

In response, Jasprit Bumrah expressed gratitude towards Pakistan counterpart.

“Beautiful gesture, my family and I are overwhelmed with the love! Best wishes always,” Bumrah tweeted.

Notably, India and Pakistan are locking horns in the 3^rd Asia Cup 2023 Super-4 stage game. The game started on September 10 but due to rain the clash between the arch rivals pushed in the Reserve Day.

The rain and storm is likely to interrupt the game on September 11.
