Sanatana Dharma Should Be Eradicated: MK Stalin’s Son Udhayanidhi

Chennai: Udhayanidhi Stalin, Tamil Nadu Minister for Youth Welfare and Sports Development has triggered massive controversy by stating that ‘Sanatana Dharma must be eradicated.’

Addressing a conference organised in Chennai by the Tamil Nadu Progressive Writers Artists Association on the theme of ‘eradication of Sanatana,’ on Saturday, TN minister said that Sanatana was against the idea of social justice and that it had to be eradicated.

“A few things cannot be opposed, that should be abolished only. We can’t oppose dengue, mosquitoes, malaria or corona. We have to eradicate this, that’s how we have to eradicate Sanatana. Rather opposing Sanatana it should be eradicated,” Udhayanidhi.

Taking to X, the DMK minister claimed that he firmly stands on his words and he spoke on the behalf of those who were oppressed and marginalised due to Sanatan Dharma.

In response, Tamil Nadu BJP Chief K Annamalai, took to X and wrote;

“Thiru @Udhaystalin, you, your father, or his or your idealogue have a bought-out idea from Christian missionaries & the idea of those missionaries was to cultivate dimwits like you to parrot their malicious ideology.”
