Rs. 10,000 To Families, Clothes And Books To Children: Arvind Kejriwal Compensates Delhi Flood Victim

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday announced that families affected by the Yamuna floods will receive Rs. 10,000 as financial assistance from the government.

Taking to Twitter, Kejriwal said that тАШpoor families living on the banks of Yamuna have suffered a lot.тАЩ Chief Minister further claimed that ten thousand rupees per family will be given as financial help to every flood affected family.

тАЬSpecial camps will be organised for those whose papers like Aadhaar Card etc have been washed away. The children whose clothes and books were washed away, will be given these on behalf of the schools,тАЭ Kejriwal tweeted.

Delhi CM also revealed that pumps are being used to reduce the water level in affected areas. Relief camps have been established in schools and dharmashalas to provide necessary amenities such as toilets and clear water, he said.
