Rohit Sharma And Virat Kohli Likely To Report NCA For Week-Long Asia Cup 2023 Camp On Aug 23

Two of the most decorative cricketers of the current generation – Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli – are on much-needed two weeks break ahead of the highly-anticipated Asia Cup 2023.

After successful Test series in West Indies, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli has been granted break in order to relax themselves before they make a strong statement for Men in Blue in continental tournament.

Meanwhile, reports have confirmed that Rohit and Virat will report to the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru for the Asia Cup 2023 camp on 23 August.

Reportedly, the NCA is hosting a week-log camp from August 24-29. The duo are not part of the T20-leg of the West Indies tour and will now directly travel Sri Lanka for the continental tournament.

Virat to travel Sri Lanka for Asia Cup on September 2

Both the dynamic batters are likely to travel Sri Lanka on September 2 and will kick-start the Asia Cup campaign against arch-rivals Pakistan.

While Jasprit Bumrah is likely to be part of the Asia Cup squad but KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer, who are still recovering from injuries at NCA are unlikely.
