Rishabh Pant Facing 140kph-Plus In Nets At NCA: Report

Bengaluru: In a significant development, Indian wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant has inching closer to it’s full fitness and as per fresh reports he has started to face deliveries at nets with speeds excess to 140 kmph at the NCA.
As reported by the RevSportz, Pant has started taking throwdowns last months but over the course of the last couple of weeks, the speed of the deliveries has also increased.

Fresh repots have confirmed that Pant is facing no issues in taking down quicker deliveries and is comfortable with small movements. Reportedly, Pant has started to keep wickets but with lesser intensity.
However, 25-year-old is still far from making larger and quicker body movements but medical staff and trainers are confident that he will achieve it in next couple of months.

“Rishabh has been making a fine recovery. He has started to take on deliveries with speed excess to 140 KMPH. We all are delighted with the way he has been crossing every hurdle in his recovery. He is keeping well. His next target will be to focus on larger and quicker body movements, which we aim to achieve in the next couple of months,” NCA source told RevSportz.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India has said Pant suffered cuts to his forehead, tore a ligament on his right knee, besides injuries his right wrist, ankle and toes.
