Kapil Dev wants to meet Rishabh Pant and ‘slap’ him for causing ‘disbalance’ in the team

A former world-cup winning captain and legend of the game has expressed his love and admiration for the wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant in his own style.

Notably, Pant is currently side-lined from all the on-field action as he is recovering from horrific car accident, which took place on December 30, 2022.

Meanwhile, Kapil Dev has recently said that he wants to give a tight slap to Rishabh Pant and make him understand that because of his carelessness the whole Indian team is in disbalance.

“I have lot of love for him. I want him to recover so that I can go and slap him and tell him to look after himself. Because of your accident, the entire team is in tatters. I love him, but I also angry at him. Why do such youngsters make such mistakes? There should be a slap for it,” Mr. Dev said.

The legend further claimed that Pant deserves all the love and blessing in the world, but some strictness around him won’t hurt him.

“First blessings, that he gets all the love in the world, may the almighty give him good health. First that, but after that, like parents have their responsibility to slap the children if they make mistakes,” he added.

Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant on Tuesday shared that he is road to recovery has begun and expressed gratitude towards everyone for showering loads of love and ‘best wishes.’

“I am humbled and grateful for all the support and good wishes. I am glad to let you know that my surgery was a success. The road to recovery has begun and I am ready for the challenges ahead. Thank you to the BCCI, Jay Shah, and government authorities for their incredible support,” wrote Pant.
