Rajasthan Minister Sacked For Questioning Own Government On Women Safety: What Exactly He Said?

Hours after he questioned state’s incompetency to provide security to women and girls, cabinet minister in Rajashtan Rajendra Gundha was sacked by Ashok Gehlot-led government on Friday.

Notably, Gundha held charge as Minister of State for Sainik Kalyan (Independent Charge), Home Guard and Civil Defence, Panchayati Raj and Rural Development.

What exactly he said?

On Friday, when discussion was being held on the Rajasthan Minimum Income Guarantee Bill 2023 in the state Assembly, Congress leaders waved placards over May 4 Manipur incident.

Gundha took a sly dig at his own government when he said that the way we have failed to provide security to women in Rajasthan we should introspect.

“The way atrocities against women have increased, instead of raising slogans over Manipur, we should introspect,” Rajendra Gudha said.
