Rahul Gandhi To Start Bharat Jodo Yatra 2 From Gujarat To Meghalaya – All You Need To Know

Maharashtra: After receiving overwhelming response during the first leg of the Bharat Jodo Yatra, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to kick start second leg of his march from Gujarat to Meghalaya.

Maharashtra Congress Chief Nana Patole on Tuesday confirmed the development and said that state Congress leaders will take out his ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ at the same time in the state.

The Congress leader said that 48 party observers have been appointed for each Lok Sabha seat in the state and these observers will submit a report about the ground situation within six days.

A core committee meeting will take place on August 16.

Details of the Bharat Jodo Yatra 2:

As per the Maharashtra leader, Patole will lead the march in East Vidarbha, Varhsa Gaikwad will lead it in Mumbai, Vijay Wadettiwar in West Vidarbha, Balasaheb Thorat in North Maharashtra, Ashok Chavan in Marathwada and Prithvi Chavan in West Maharashtra.

Afterwards all the leaders will go to Konkan together. Patole also revealed that a bus yatra will be taken out after pad yatra.

Gujarat Congress invited Rahul Gandhi to start Bharat Jodo Yatra:

A day earlier, Gujarat Congress said it invited Rahul Gandhi to start the second phase of his yatra from the state.

We have extended an invitation to Rahul Gandhi to start the second phase of Bharat Joda Yatra from Gujarat, which is the land of Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Patel. The second phase should begin from the state,” he was quoted by PTI.
