Protest Outside Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat Over Online Gaming Ads; 4-5 Detained

Mumbai: The security measures were beefed up outside Mannat, Shah Rukh Khan’s residence in Mumbai after group of protestors gathered outside the actor’s residence on Sunday, August 27.
Reportedly, the protest was triggered over Shah Rukh Khan’s endorsement of online gaming app, Junglee Rummy.

Protestors claimed that such brand advertisement misguide youth of the country and actors of such stature must not indulged into such promotional activity.
Reportedly, four to five individuals from Untouch Youth Foundation were detained by the Mumbai police.

Meanwhile, Krishnachand Adal, President of the Untouch Youth Foundation criticized celebrities for endorsing online games alleging that despite knowing the consequences, celebrities keep promoting such activities.
