As reported earlier, scores of Pro-Khalistan group gathered outside Indian consulate in Toronto and held a protest against India by desecrating Indian flag on July 8. Meanwhile, Khalistani elements backed by Sikhs for Justice aka SFJ had to face backlash from the Indians holding Indian tricolour.
Reportedly, two Khalistani elements have been apprehended by the police as violence broke out at an anti-India rally outside the Indian consulate in Canada’s Toronto on Saturday. Watch the video here.
Earlier, the protest – backed by the Sikhs for Justice or SFJ – was publicised through viral posters conveying death threats to the Indian envoys in Canada. However, this time pro-Khalistan elements were challenged by pro-Indian demonstrators holding Indian flags across the street.
Reportedly, the Khalistani groups held posters of SFJ leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar, who was murdered Surrey Columbia on June 18. Other posters in the anti-India rally vouched for Punjab Referendum’s next phase.
