Private Jet Crashes At Mumbai Airport; No Casualty

A private jet on September 14, Thursday skidded at Mumbai airport runway.

The jet, travelling from Visakhapatnam to Mumbai, was carrying six passengers and two crew members. No casualties have been reported till now.

“VSR Ventures Learjet 45 aircraft VT-DBL operating flight from Vizag to Mumbai was involved in a runway excursion (veer off) while landing on runway 27 at Mumbai airport,” the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said.

Private jet crashed amid rain

The incident took place after city witnessed rain throughout the day and the footages shows murky grey sky.

At present the debris haven been cleared from the runway and it is being used by other flights. A slight delay was observed post-crash.
