Parineeta director Pradeep Sarkar passes away, celebs mourn

Mumbai: Popular filmmaker Pradeep Sarkar had breathed his last Friday morning, at the age of 68. The filmmaker is widely known for directing movies like Parineeta, Laga Chunri Mein Daag, Mardani and Helicopter Ella. 

Reportedly, Mr. Sarkar was on dialysis and his potassium levels had dropped drastically. He passed away in a hospital where he rushed at 3 am. 

Hosts of actors took to Twitter to express their condolence on the demise of ‘Dada.’
