Operation Amritpal Singh: Maharashtra police on high alert

Maharashtra: Maharashtra police has been put on high alert after Waris De Punjab Chief and fugitive Khalistani preacher Amritpal Singh has reportedly escaped arrest in Punjab. A lookout circular and a non-bailable warrant has been issued against Singh.

According to sources, some parts of the state including Nanded have been put on high alert. 

The state police informed that any vehicle arriving and leaving Nanded is being closely watched. Maharashtra Anti Terror Squad is on high alert.
